I enjoyed running the course. I thought it was quite scenic and nice.
Yes. By 34 minutes. I did not qualify for Boston, but hopefully next year!!
The first 8 miles were fun and challenging. The next 12 were pretty easy and the last six were tougher than I expected. The scenery was great.
I trained pretty well until I got hurt two weeks from the race. I did one hill workout a week where I would run up this hill that was three miles up with 700 feet of elevation change. I would run up and down that once a week.
The main thing that I would do is dress differently. I wore a long sleeve and a running jacket for the entire race and I was comfortable in the beginning and hot at the end.
None, I am from Torrance, so not that much before or after.
The view. Great swag. Race directors (?)who gave instructions were knowledgeable. Great merchandise.
No
Beautiful course except at miles 10 to 11 when it narrowed down dramatically.
News to train downhill
Took lots of photos.
Many people were lost after race drop off. Drop off should be the same as pick up area

Very smooth; everyone was helpful and organized. I really enjoyed waiting for the Half to begin; I enjoyed the music and the clear skies and crisp air. The silhouette of the mountains was nice!
Yes; I improved my Half by 17 minutes!
First half of the Half was primarily down hill and scenic. The latter half of the Half (about mile 8 or 9) it was flat and residential and not as scenic.
Interval training; ran hills.
Be cautious not to start too fast ...
I was local; enjoyed the post race but didn't take any photos b/c I don't carry a phone w/ me during the race.
I wish we could have started the Half with the National Anthem.
Great day running down!!
Yes. 19 min off previous PR
Loved it all. Wished we could’ve had one lane dedicated to runners though.
Train with the Loma Linda Lopers
Train for this
Would have been awesome if the medal had “Inaugural” on it.

Perfect!
More down hills training than regular
Cold in the early morning, keep warm for couple miles!
A group of runners from city of walnut
Thank you for your great efforts.Great experience!
Beautiful course and perfect weather!
No, but I wasn’t well trained. Had I been more prepared- this would for sure be a PR course!
Fast and yet challenging
Have the finish line close to the where cars are located to eliminate the bus carpool
Loved the course Everything was organized The only thing we were dropped very early, we had to wait more than an hour for the race to start
Yes
Beautiful and very easy
I did 10 ks twice a week for 3 weeks
Nothing, there was nothing available in the area
Thank you guys for the hard work, I appreciate the organization and the effort, see you again soon
outdoor race pick up area was closing by 5pm when I arrive, should do indoor so we get to see all the vendors.
yes 136 half
great, but some cars came onto the road during the run
very little sadly
we are warm clothes at the start line
went to chipotle and then to the hotel. awful 2 star.
came from SF
I wanted to do the marathon but the drive time from airport to the race to finish line etc made that difficult as I had a flight to catch. I really enjoyed the Charleston run. .
I love all the well equipped aid stations, the great swag bags, the scenery, and all the backdrops to take the best selfies and backdrops with all my friends! Thank you Revel!
Yes, PRd by 6 minutes! My husband shaved off over an hour of his time!
Absolutely beautiful!
I was injured during my training and had to scale down to the half marathon but I’m glad I got to experience the half! Downhill training is a must!
Book the hotel way in advance and prepare for rainy weather!
We explored different dining places as a group, pre and post race.
Thank you for such well-organized race! The only suggestion I have is to hold the Expo indoors.
